FENDER USA STRATOCASTER YNGWIE MALMSTEEN 1989 For sale, a stunning and highly collectible Fender USA Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster dating from the late 1980s. The Strat is in fantastic condition for its age as you can see from the photos. It has a couple of dings and light surface wear but nothing you would not expect from a 28 year old guitar... The body has this Vintage Yellowish Cream finished and looks fabulous... The maple neck, needless to say, feels and plays perfectly. Straight as an arrow, with low comfortable action and with a board to die... this neck rocks! The frets are all in excellent condition and the truss rod works perfectly like everything else! This YJM Strat is a dream to play on. No buzzing, chocking or anything and intonation is spot on. Electrics also work perfectly and all untouched. The Original Fender USA Tweed Case is working great and shows its age. Finally, it features a 2-Pivot USA Trem, Scalloped Neck, a Brass Nut and of course the two Dimarzios... This is one the first incarnations of the iconic YJM Series with all the correct appointments. According to its Serial Number it was made in 1989 – SE909534. Professionally Set-up and ready to go with Ernie ball 9-46 Strings. Also included in the sale is its Original Fender Japanese Booklet with Tools as I purchased this guitar from Tokyo. A few fabulous goodies are also as you can see from the photos (Ernie Balla Strap, Korg Tuner, Fender USA Strings, Straplocks, Crocodile Locking Klusons and so on... Its almost 30 years old now and looks like a million dollars... a killer on stage and a monster in the studio... This is probably one of the best YJM Strats on eBay and certainly not one to come across often... a serious axe for a serious guitarist...
