Gibson GA-8T Gibsonette Tremolo 1x10 Tube Amplifier Price: $999.00 Me oh my, this Gibsonette Tremolo is the epitome of a quintessential recording amplifier. Pushing out approximately 8-9 watts of tube power through the original 10" Jensen speaker with basic volume and tone controls and foot-switchable depth and frequency controls for the tremolo make for a refined design without compromised tone. The tremolo at it's lowest speed is still fairly fast-paced, and with the depth knob you can really dial in anything between a hard chop and accentuated dynamics. The clean tone runs the gamut, meshing incredibly well with different types of pickups, being very full bodied and inherently complimentary to neck and bridge pickups alike, accenting what those pickups put out and nudging them along sonically. It develops a very organic sounding breakup when you crank it, ideal for recording. It's very light weight (comfortably one-handable) and it's completely original down to the 2 prong cord and the cover (well, whats left of the cover, at least). There's some discoloration to the tolex and very few dings in the enclosure itself but considering it's age it's in a great way, overall.
