Dusty Strings handcrafted hammered dulcimer model D35. This is a 15/16 dulcimer. 3+ octaves of exquisite tone and clarity. Crafted solid mahogany sound board and Back, maple bridges, Walnut sides, This instrument was strung and completed on March 28, 2001. Although almost 16 years old, it is still in pristine condition, only two tiny dings about 1/4" on the left side, like a fingernail edge imprint. Always stored in its original padded case, in a climate controlled environment.
Included in this package is the original padded case, original oak adjustable stand, which I modified with 2 extra braces for added stability. 3 sets of hammers, tuning wrench, extra shoulder strap for the case, learning materials with CD, tuning strips for the sound board, and a dulcimer " cheat sheet". And of course the original owners manual. I personally restrung this instrument August of 2016 with a brand new set of strings from the maker. This will need fine tuned upon arrival, as it has remained unplayed since being serviced in August. This beautiful dulcimer deserves to be played and displayed !!
