A very unique and cool Strat! I believe this was built exclusively for the USA Market at the time and sports some very hip appointments and player-centric features. Built in the Fender Custom Shop, the materials and quality are top notch. All of the specs conform to a real 1956 Strat save for some cool factory upgrades.This guitar was produced during the transition from Cunnetto Strat relics to the standard custom shop relics. Furthermore,The body is stamped "Custom Shop relic" and i have reason to believe that this was produced prior to the transfer, also having seen later produced relics with the signature Cunetto Stamp. Be that as it may, the Guitar is priced accordingly as this cant be confirmed. Rest assured, all the serial Numbers, Pot Codes, and date's match accordingly certifying complete originality. (Please message me privately for the cavity pictures)The body is select alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 frets. Check out the gorgeous Feista Red Relic Job on this Body by Mike Eldred. A trio of Custom Shop wound Vanzandt single coils deliver big Vintage tone..... Some very rare pick-ups indeed. They are hooked to the original vintage correct 5 way switch. A vintage style Aged trem and Kluson style tuners offer rock solid performance. A Very Nice guitar. This is the first one I've ever had with these pick-ups. Definitely one of the coolest Strats on the block!This Strat has killer tone and feel. The 56 Soft V neck profile is comfortable to play, The action is Low and the frets are full. the pickups sound awesome and the electronics work as they should. This guitar was collector owned and well taken care of. It would be silly to rate the cosmetic condition of a Relic but this one has been well taken care of. Comes in original case with cert and a pile of case candy..If you dig the vintage vibe but want a cool color, this Strat is for you.
