WOW. Awesome snare. if you've never heard one you need to. This is one of the original old ones with the rarer finish. Good for the age but NOT perfect.the worst is its missing badge. I know why would anyone remove it?new heads!many of rods are not original as you can see in photo some have to long of nonthreaded are so they bottom out on lug. one of the lugs has new nut that rod goes into.a few marks hear and thereas you can see in photo the bottom area of lug is slightly lifted due to heads being a bit too tight. this was typical of these snares as the have only one screw on upper side of lug and a small pin on bottom so they tip in at the top a bit. this can easily be fixed by putting on new black gaskets under lugs and don't over tighten.Throw and butt work as shouldSound is crazy GOOD!!!
