Unique 70's Ernie Ball factory prototype acoustic / electric guitar.
The microphone in this guitar is adjustable and allows to find that sweet spot for tone and plugs in via 1/4" jack through the strap button. The head stock is loaded with Grover tuners with synthetic ivory tuning knobs, which work like they should, the Ernie Ball "E" used for these prototype guitars, and what looks to be rosewood truss rod cover to match the pick guard. The bolt-on neck is straight and shows signs of being played. The finish on the back of the neck is worn and allows for silky smooth playability. The frets do show signs of wear as well but when played up and down the fretboard I didn't notice any fret buzz. The body has some nicks, dings, scratches, and a few subtle cracks (see photos). The top is spruce (like any good dreadnought should be) with walnut back and sides, a rosewood bridge and pick guard.Ultimately, this is an amazing guitar. The playability with the age on top of the tone both acoustically and plugged in is enough for any collector or player who wants a unique guitar.
