There is a chip/indention that has been pictured.  The bass will come with an upgraded hard shell case.  The shipping cost is higher because I will have the UPS Store pack and ship this for me.The pick guard, covers, and finger rest were all added later. I will include the original black pickguard with the bass.  The neck and the body are from the same bass, both USA made. I purchased the bass new from Elderly Instruments a few years ago.
