*** THIS IS THE SPECIFIC 1990s PHIL COLLEN ARCHTOP MODEL MANUFACTURED BY JACKSON GUITARS ******* THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE SOLID METALLIC BLACK ARCHTOP ONLY **** This is from my personal collection - Its one of my Japan "Professional" PC Archtop models in metallic black. This was the first model that Phil and Grover put together pre-Hysteria tour prior to the PC1 model you see now.I purchased this as a refin project through DRL Graphics, but have decided I have enough projects in the works right now. This was made roughly 1990-1991, and are very, very tough to find now. From what I can assume, maybe 100 of these Japan versions were made along with 100 USA's. With no work orders or logs, its impossible to tell for sure. Overall its in what I call a ?player? condition. Black is very hard to photograph, but I tried to get the best shots I could. There are scratches and dings. The back is the worst where someone previously tried to touch up the scratches. If anyone needs more photos please ask. I took some inside and out.I do not have a trem arm. The back plate was replaced with a plastic one with new screw holes as you can see in the photos.
