1983 Fender Japan Masterpiece!* The guitar has it all... playability, tone, feel and colossal mojo... the guitar rings round full and clear * This is the Fender export Squier JV 57' Reissue with stock black fiber bottom Fullerton pickups. As authentic sounding 50's style strat you will find without breaking the bank or getting a divorce. Everything is right about this particular guitar... the body carve sports Fullerton curves and the headstock is spot on. These were made with ash, alder and basswood... this guitar is made out of alder. This is the same as the Domestic Fender ST65-57 in every way... except it says squierLight weight... 7lbs 4oz and acoustically she singsNeck is straight action low, and despite all the obvious play, plenty of fret life. Fresh pro setup including fret leveling and crowning... buzz free some dimpling in the first position but no issue, and, as an added touch nailing authenticity, the fretboard is factory rolled! I don't think you even get that incredible detail on present day USA Fenders unless reissue or custom shop. It makes the feel of the neck that much more comfortable and appealing. The profile is a full medium C. Great feeling Neck!If you are looking for vintage tone, this is it! The Fullerton pickups nail that chime from the 50's. Sounds out of this world5 way switch... not sure if original?... Usually DM30 or 50, but from research another USA switch made it on some as well... your call.Stays in tuneBack trem cover not original Guitar shows plenty of wear with chips and dings... quite a bit of belt rash all authentic. Comes with hard case... worn but solidPictures described what is included with guitar.
