I'm selling this nice custom rack of 4 Quad Eight Coronado channel strips. These were pulled from a vintage desk and racked without the output faders. The beefy Quad Eight output transformers are wired into the output. They have been recapped, everything works great and they sound amazing. The EQ on these units sounds excellent in a vintage 70's console way and has so many points per band its ridiculous. The Coronado desks were very similar in design to the earlier Ventura and Pacifica consoles. They're based around the discrete AM10 op amp. Why buy a Pacifica or Ventura recreation by A Designs when you can get 4 channels of the real vintage preamps with EQ for the same cost per channel?The rack was built to have the power transformer sit outside the case to reduce noise.
