Rupert Neve 9098 4 channel microphone preamplifier (Amek Version)Originally designed by Rupert Neve when he worked for Amek this 19 inch rack mountable unit has the unique "Rupert Neve sound"I have functionally tested this with a Neumann U87 (Phantom powered) and all appears to be working and sounding as it should.I have not measured S/N as my Audio Precision is out on loan, so cannot guarantee the noise floor as I would have liked to.Each channel is accessed via front panel controls and phantom power/phase reverse and of course levels can be set according to which microphone is being used.The unit is not in top quality condition, but pretty good and as above all appears to be working correctly.
