Description Exact Year: 1966 Brand: Ludwig
Vintage White Pearl Ludwig Club Date Set with Jazz Festival Snare. One owner, original set - unmodified.I purchased this set in 1966 or 1967. Although I have used other drums, this was my favorite set. It has a very beautiful punchy, woody sound and was used professionally for recording and gigs. Bass Drum 20 x 14. White Pearl. Club date model with Keystone badge. The bass comes with 2 attachments for toms. The drum head with logo is the original one purchased in 1966. The Bass is in good condition (stock and unmodified, round, etc) for its age but shows signs of wear: Although the pearl wrap has yellowed a bit it does not appear to be lifting from the drum or at the seam. The chrome shows signs of pitting. The legs are missing the rubber footing (the type that push over the tips of the spikes). One of the hoops has a crack in it that has been glued - I believe where the drum pedal connected to the bass drum.Ludwig Jazz Festival Snare 14" x 51/2", 8 lug. White Pearl. Club date model with Keystone badge. 1966 serial number. The snare is in good condition (stock and unmodified, round, etc) for its age but shows signs of use: Although the pearl wrap has yellowed a bit it does not appear to be lifting from the drum or at the seam. The chrome shows signs of pitting. The bottom drum skin head is torn and should be replaced. The snare head has been punctured with 2 small holes in it, but is useable. Ludwig Tom 12 x 8 White Pearl. Club date model with Keystone badge. 1966 serial number. The tom is in good condition (stock and unmodified, round, etc) for its age but shows signs of use: Although the pearl wrap has yellowed a bit it does not appear to be lifting from the drum or at the seam. The chrome shows signs of pitting. The bottom drum skin head is torn and should be replaced. I will use the least expensive but safest method possible for shipping. I may combine the drums together to ship or do them separately to minimize the potential for damage.Let me know if you have any questions.
