Broadwood Antique Concert Grand Piano with a Figured Rosewood Case C.1865 A magnificent John Broadwood & Sons antique concert grand piano made in London circa 1865, serial number 19607. Beautifully figured rosewood case in excellent condition, turned octagonal legs capped with ornate acanthus leaf carving, traditional lyre shaped wooden pedals, slatted music desk and filigree candle trays, twin hinged fallboard, 6 3/4 octaves, original 82 note keyboard, twin lid locking handles, 8 feet 3 inches in length by 4 feet 6 inches in width. The instrument can still be played but would benefit from restoration to return it to its original playing standard. A beautiful and rare example of an early English concert piano that would grace any period property or establishment.
