I purchased this clarinet about 40 years ago, from a friend who soon became my mentor - he first got me started, with the fabulous Wm S Haynes sterling silver double walled clarinets. When I amassed 16 Haynes clarinets (13 "Bb", 3 "A") he ( my mentor) called one day, and said " I've got a super nice "F" clarinet, you definitely should own" so, I then bought it!Now at the near age of 84, I'm realizing, I can't take my whole collection with me, even as much as I would like to, take a few with me, when I go - Ha, Ha. Are you interested in it? What is it? It has absolutely no name, or serial number on it anywhere. Is it silver plated, or sterling? It has a very heavy feel to it, with an adjustable barrel, and double walled, like the Haynes have - I have no guarantee, from my lack of knowledge, I'm at your Mercy! Length of this clarinet without a mouthpiece on is, 31 & 5/8". Whats on a Sax, that would be considered to be the "B" key, can be half hold, to clear up it's usage? The crystal mouthpiece is NOT included, nor is there a case. This clarinet needs a repad, a couple of springs, clarinet has absolutely no dents anywhere, no stuck keys,and takes a polish real nice, clarinet is being sold as is, no return.
