The cornet is in good condition with only a little use to the lacquer at the 1st bow and lead pipe. I was told by the person I purchased this horn from that it was made for Red Nichols, but I do not have any proof of this. The bell reads: Tempered bell, The Olds Standard made by F. E. Olds & Son Los Angeles Calif. Serial number 16955.This is a great playing horn.
