This Clearaudio MC Cartridge had broken cantilever. Retipped with original micro HD Clearaudio stylus and diamond.
The main characteristic of this moving coil phono cartridge is the detail of the highs. Very smooth and clear.
This achievement is surely due to the V2 which means 24k Gold coils.
The soundstage is incredibly real.
No doubt that this is among the top 5 best cartridges I have ever heard.
The retipping was done with exclusive materials by Vinyl A.D. 2000 which assures you 3 years warranty.
Just don't exceed 2 grams tracking force, even if the factory suggests 2,8 grams, it was playing very well already at 1,5 grams.
Although 50 ohms load is the factory suggested, I found that the best balance is around 30 ohms, but you should test by your own.
I am sure this cartridge will give you many years of fine music. I personally own another Clearaudio as my reference cartridge so I know what I am talkning about.
