Offered for sale is a Rare RTO Boomerang in Aston Martin Pearlescent Yellow and Dimarzio single coil noiseless vintage pickups. Best tremolo in the industry. Awarded a U.S. Patent in late 2010. This particular guitar has the "Chord Bending" ratios. Has a push-in pull-out lever that fits tight. NO SLOP between your hand and strings. The RTO tremolo sits above any other tremolo system in the industry. Great sustain, range, tune stability, and ease of string change. Not a string breaker at all. Easy to adjust preload for string gauge changes. No adding or subtracting springs, the tremolo is fairly independent to string gauge. Knurled knob in center of the main pivot , which is supported by ceramic nitride frictionless bearings, is an adjustable tune-neutral detent that when turned all the way in locks out the tremolo mechanism. No need really. "No Lift" when bending strings and best tune stability in the industry.I will start at the top where there are Hipshot Locking Tuners with RTO screwless mounting rails. Graphtech XL nut. Neck is a neck-through made by Carvin. Model # NT6 if you need more specs than I will provide. 25 inch scale with 12 inch radius 24 medium jumbo frets on an Ebony fret board. Finest American made necks from Southern California. Super straight with a thin taper profile. Body is also of Maple with the top half being a hollow chamber. Paint is base coat with polyurethane clear coat. Weight is 7.5 pounds. Specifics on electronics are as follows: Dimarzio Area '58 model# DP415 in neck, in mid is an Area '61 model# DP416, and in bridge an Area '67 model# DP419. Great combination of pickups. Sound is SO Strat, but better neck and tremolo. I am a fan of the Strat sound but not so much of the guitar and tremolo or Fender scale length. Single on/offs control each pickup giving 7-way switching. EVH low friction pots and Sprague Orange Drop cap. Switchcraft flush output jack. Planet waves elliptical strap buttons. Guitar is set up with .010 ~ .046's. Control knobs, control plate, single milled pickup bezel, and tremolo are all hand fabricated RTO parts.The hardshell case is not super expensive. It fits well, protects well but you may want to upgrade at a later date.
