Greetings, This 2007 Japan made Takamine EF508KC is not just sweet eye candy it is a player! I purchased it new in 2007 and it comes with the original sales receipt. It has been played a lot so the koa wood is giving up its best sound ever. When a koa guitar is new the sound is more on the bright side and the more it's played the sound develops to be more full and well rounded, such is the case here. The tone is amazing! Deep rich lows and sparkly highs. The electronics excellently to duplicate that acoustic sound and the on board tuner is so convenient. The truss rod works great and the guitar stays in tune better than any guitar that I have had, Other than some of the stain being worn off the fret board and a couple very very tiny dings, the guitar is still like new. It has been case kept and properly humidified. The action is nice and low and intonation perfect. The Takamine lopsided "D" shaped neck fits the hand perfectly. I am going to an arch top guitar sound in my band and need to make room. This is my favorite guitar and it pains me to sell it but it has to go to get set up for what I need. This is your opportunity to get a guitar that someone would not normally ever part with. Comes with the original hard shell case that shows a lot of wear but is solid and fully functional.
