The 2002 Gibson SG Special "Crescent Moon" is more than its unique neck inlays. It has earned a reputation as one of the best playing, best sounding SG Guitars available. Only made for eighteen months it has the usual Mahogany body but also is equipped with a Mahogany neck instead of the normal Maple neck. Most of the fret boards are ebony as I believe this one to be also. Two hot, fantastic performing humbucker pickups, tune-o-matic bridge, stop bar, two volume and two tone controls with a three way switch round out the features.This one has the look to go with the quality. Amazing grain patterns. And the only slight signs of play appear on the hardware and pick guard where it should be. The body is in excellent condition. The neck has a great feel to it without being too fat or skinny. At 6.8 pounds it has a good heft without being heavy. Please study the photos and if you'd like more just ask. The hard case is a five latch TSA type construction in very good shape. Only a few scuffs from doing its job. No deep scratches, gouges, cracks or punctures.I am an experienced packer and I usually ship within 24 hours of cleared payment.I am proud of my feedback and I try to do for the buyer what I would want done for myself.
