Up for sale is this Genuine / Official Joe Strummer Tribute Fender Telecaster guitar, which will be supplied in a quality Protective Flight case. Images attached for this Genuine Fender 2007 Limited Edition Joe Strummer Signature guitar which is in excellent condition. Only 1500 examples of Strummer’s mid-sixties Telecaster were made - in a highly distressed road-worn treatment that emulates the worn-to-the-wood layers of grey auto primer and flat black spray paint that Joe made famous. It also features a Revolution Rock engraved neck plate. These guitars sold like hot cakes when released in 2007, and they continue to rise in value year on year! This is a stunning piece of Punk Rock memorabilia, especially due to the Clash frontmans connection to this model - but the Telecaster was also the axe of choice for Hugh Cornwell of The Stranglers, who used a similiar looking model. included with this guitar is a spare genuine Fender white scratch plate which if used gives the guitar the Hugh Cornwell look!Although this guitar does not come with the Fairey Shepard customisation kit, it does still have two of the original stickers on it - the all important Alien Orders & The Trash City Rockers labels as per Joe's actual guitar.
