The Fender American Deluxe 50th Anniversary Jazz Bass.First introduced in 1960, the Fender Jazz Bass has become one of the most played basses in modern musical history.
Flexibility of tone, being the principle attraction.
I love the Am. Standard Jazz Bass pickups, especially the bridge pickup. So...
Updated to include two Am. Std. Jazz Bass Pickups,
which everybody seems to prefer, myself included, obviously...
This is my favorite Jazz Bass, but, now that I'm no longer performing...
I've got to seriously thin my collection.
I'm keeping several of my well used basses, the ones I've become emotionally attached to.
The pretty ones need a new home where they will be played.
Minimal fret wear.
Solid Ash Body in Red Sunburst finish,Maple Neck, and Rosewood Fingerboard, and aWonderful neck profile,I'd call it a deeper "C" neck profile,Not what you find today, especially on a Jazz Bass!
Fender really got it right with their 50th Anniversary Basses.
1996 and 1997 Fender Basses have the best necks...IMHO!!!Scale Length: 34 inches,Nut Width: 1 1/2 inches,SN: N6112xxx, mfg. 1996.Fender hard-shell case included.Yes... this is truly one of the good ones!
