Dual Showman. 1964 blackface date code NJ (October 1964). 6L6s are Sylvania tubes. Vibrato Works! Everything works. No mods to circuit, chassis, or cabinet. Tolex is scuffed in places, (can be replaced) showing 52 years of wear. Footswitch not included. The metal fixtures show oxidation but can be polished out.About the DUAL Showman:Has the AB763 circuit, and is like a head version of the legendary blackface Twin Reverb combo, without the reverb. Not having the reverb circuit allows you to connect channel 1 to channel 2 without phase cancellation. The head also has the advantage of being much lighter than the combo, and being able to connect to a variety of cabinet configurations. The Twin and Dual Showman use 4 6L6s.Please Check all the listing images carefully, while the amp works very well, it does show its 52 years, but still looks great. This Rare Fender Amp Head is for someone who loves the sound while perhaps is into restoring it to its former glory.Tolex is available on the market to recreate the striking black fender look.Make Offer.
