Eastman FRANK VIGNOLA VP680 Proto type with angled pickup and Selmer style Cutaway Archtop Guitar hand crafted with a solid carved Spruce top and solid carved Maple back and sides and original case. THIS IS ONE OF EASTMANS BEST JAZZ GUITARS! featuring an Ebony fingerboard - 1 3/4" at nut, 25 1/2'' scale, 17'' fully carved, accurately graduated aged spruce top with custom f holes, beautifully carved solid maple back and sides. Three piece neck, ebony fingerboard, Rosewood tailpiece, pickguard and headstock front and back This is A SIGNATURE Proto type model in the flagship of the Eastman archtops designed by a professional playerFrank Vignola featuring: Custom Headstock , tailpiece, knobs and custom pickguard - in line tuners. Built-in, specially designed Kent Armstrong floating mini humbucking 7 sting pickup angle mounted for great tone. Side mounted jack 20 fret, 25" scale neck 1.75 neck width at nut. This actual Proto type guitar was played by some of the top jazz guitarists in the world and all gave it thumbs up! It is in as new condition except for one small impression, the size of a pencil point, on the top shown in the last photo. Becasue of this we have lowered the starting price to $2395. It comes professionally set up with the action set between3/64th and 4/64th inches at the 12th fret on the high E string and approximately 4/64ths on the low E string and plays effortlessly.
