Heavily upgraded Les Paul Traditional with an awesome flame top from 2016. Plays perfectly as the day it came plek'd from the factory. Nice low action, plays very smooth and fast with zero buzz anywhere on the neck. 8.6 lbs w/ traditional Gibson weight relief.
Here's the details:
1) Upgraded the '57 Classic pickups to 4 conductor '57 Classics for coil tap and phase reversal.
2) The two tone pots have been replaced with pull/ push pots (neck tone for phase switch, bridge tone for coil tap). The first picture shows the tone pots pulled up, enabling the phase and coil taps.
3) The wiring harness from the guitar came from a 2015 Gibson Collector's Choice Les Paul. I purchased it from the owner who preferred his own custom wiring.
4) The wiring harness has Bumblebee caps from the Gibson Custom Shop.
5) Plastic pickup rings and pickguard changed from stock cream to genuine Gibson Custom Shop black.
6) Truss rod cover is a Gibson '59 Reissue.
7) Gibson Historic amber switch tip.
8) Gibson gold reflector knobs, hand aged by '59 Parts.
In the last few pictures you can see the original plastics, the original speed knobs (not pictured) will be included as well.
The other original parts will be included except for the original 2 conductor pickups as they were swapped for the 4 conductor version. Comes with the OHSC & all the case candy.
If you prefer the original plastics to be replaced before shipping, let me know. I'm flexible with shipping as well, so we can work out whatever method you prefer.
It has seriously incredible tone, one of my favorites is to roll back the tone on either pickup with the coil tap and phase switch engaged. With the pickup selector in the middle you can get a Frank Zappa nasally tone at high gain. Plus a myriad of other sounds. Flipping the pickup selector back and forth during solos sounds really cool.
