Here is a fantastic piece of American History you can play! This is a 1929 Martin Style B Mandolin. The Style B is much less common than the style A mandolins with featured mahogany back and sides and plainer appointments. The B's were decked out like a style "21" Martin guitar and feature Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, diamond inlays, and the "bent top" and comes with the original case with has not aged as well, but is still functional. This particular one is one the cleanest instruments of its age I've ever seen and plays phenomenally. It came to us as a trade for a Collings Mandolin.
