You are looking at the 1989 Hamer impact Bass prototype. Owned and played by Kip Winger. This bass was used in the studio and toured the world with the band Winger. This is the first prototype of the impact Bass. It is ice pearl with grey accents. EMG pickups. This is the only impact I have seen with this pickup choice. Paint has yellowed in years. Bass has checking and scratches on front and back. Kip had the back of the neck sanded smooth. D tuner does not work. Neck was repaired once. Very nice job. We all know how Kip Danced on stage with this Bass. Bass plays great, good frets. Comes with OHSC. Comes with letter of Authentication from Kip Winger. If you watched MTV in late 80s early nineties you see a lot of this bass. Also was in some Hamer advertisements.
