Ok. I know I could make more money with breaking these up, but the patina matches all and evidently the first owner loves floor toms! It would be like breaking up the Beatles. I have carefully removed all parts, cleaned and polished shells with Novus 123, cleaned chrome and installed new Remo coated Ambassador heads on all. Batter head on kick is a smooth Remo with period correct Ludwig logo. These 3 ply mahogany/poplar/mahogany shells with maple re rings really sing. Some micro pitting on the chrome, but overall, a 9 out of 10 for being over 50 years old. All original white interiors. This auction includes 4 shells, floor tom legs, spurs, dual consolette only! Wrap is tight on all drums, seams are clean, very nice. Small knick on 13" rack tom but difficult to find. From the best I can tell, factory dual consolette mounts on the kick. No extra holes and has cymbal mount too. Maybe for a second tom or cowbell??? Shells are in the round and if you need additional pictures, let me know and be specific. Here are the specs:20" x 14" bass drum. Serial #383528 1966 and batter hoop had no inlay. I replaced from Jammin Sam with the finish "Sullivan" and it's as close as I could get. Includes spurs and dual consolette mount. Does NOT include cymbal arm. Smooth Ambassador on resonant, Remo smooth white Powerstroke 3 on batter.
13" x 9" rack tom Serial #390442 1966, in round and includes white baseball bat muffler.16" x 16" floor tom Serial #509748 1967 with white baseball damper. This might be the added tom but wrap is a perfect match to the rest of the set. With floor tom legs. Mark on backside.16" x 16" floor tom Serial #413162 1966 with white baseball damper and floor tom legs.Due to sizes, I'm going to have to ship in 2 boxes and I've shipped sets of drums successfully all over the world. My feedback is very important to me and thanks so much!Please ask any questions and don't pass these rare drums by.
