I know I will regret letting go of this one. Like all relic'd guitars it is one of a kind. Sounds glorious. Custom MJT Relic Strat. Finish by Mark Jenny Tele (MJTele- MJT Aged tele finishes. Mark and Matt Jenny are well known on any strat/tele forum for their masterpieces. Their quality is right there with the Custom shop relics.This is a one piece swamp ash replacement body for a strat. Body cut to vintage S style specs by Wildwood Mfg. in CA. Topped off with an aged vintage 100% nitro black finish( heavy relic with heavy lacquer checking) by Mark Jenny.this is an Allparts brand fender licensed replacement neck. The neck is an Allparts maple neck. 3/4" thick at 1st fret. Graph Tech Tusq nut. Rosewood fingerboard 9.5 radius. Aged vintage style tuners. Truss rod adjustment at the heel.The pickups are Fender John Mayer Big Dippers. Full aluminum pick guard shield. Aged 3 ply pick guard, pick up covers and knobs and screws. All cavities have been shielded with Stew-Mac conductive shielding paint. 5 way switch. Russian PIO (paper in oil) tone cap-.047uf. Switchcraft output jack. CTS tone pots. Vintage cloth push back wiring. John Mayer 57/62 reissue tremolo. I have the tremolo arm. looks, plays and sounds great. Note: I purchased this about 3 years ago from the builder Mike's shop (Tuscon). Mike makes affordable relic'd guitars. Please check out his Reverb store to learn more about the origins of this guitar. I love this guitar, but lack the time and talent to keep it.
