DescriptionFender really did a great job on this one. Great USA made quality and feel. An incredible recreation of a Custom Color 1965 Strat! The body is select alder for good tone and weight. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple neck with 21 frets and dot inlays. A trio of '65 Custom wound Strat pickups deliver classic tone. Vintage style tuners and a vintage style trem keep it rock solid. The finish is Dakota Red lacquer and sports Fender's trademark thin Skin finish. This is a great Strat and may be the only guitar you'll need at a gig. The action is good and low, the frets are fine and the 65 shaped neck feels great. The pickups and 5 way switch deliver a variety of tones. Very, very versatile. This is a mint guitar. Its seen virtually no play-wear, so cosmetic condition very clean and pristine. The guitar doesn't look to have gotten a ton of play time. The frets are clean and the guitar feels great. Comes in a Fender black Tolex case with a stash of case candy.Soundwise, this things Killer. There is a meaty fullness and depth of tone in a vintage-style Strat with all the right bits, that is pretty much non-existent in the entry-level models. Bridge pickups don't sound puny, the in-between sounds don't fall away to nothing, and so it is here.This Strat will please almost any player thanks to its great looks, killer tone and amazing versatility.
