Description Condition: New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). It was around 2007 or 2008, I was a Fender dealer. That means (Gretsch, Jackson, Charvel, Guild, and so on). Gretsch had struck a deal to use Chet's name again, so all of the 6120's they had in stock were going to be discontinued. They needed a new guard and label on the inside. That is what the difference was, that was it. My out side sales rep called me and told me they had 30 figured 6120's to discount. But I had to take them all at once. So I did.
I sold them all off except for this one. When I got them in, I opened them all up, and made sure there was no damage. This guitar was so perfect and beautiful, I took it home. I knew one day I would want a 6120, and this would be the best I had ever seen. And it still is.
This guitar is $2500, not $2450. If some one wants to own it, they can. If not it will go back in my rack at home and sit for another 10 years, but then it will be $4000!! (inflation, decreased value of the US Dollars buying power).Brand new, plastic on the guard, foam on the bar, only about 4 chords and one scale has been played on her!These were send out in boxes with out cases. They were not discounting cases since they were the same for the normal 6120 still. I will send this in a Gretsch gig bag, bubble warped and in a new box, and insured well.SHIPPING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION Shipping and handling is $50 for the 45 states. It is $75 for Washington, Oregon, California, Florida, and Maine.Absolutely no international, Alaskan, or Hawaiian bidders. Local pick up is ok in a North Western Chicago suburb.
