1940's Gibson Banner LG-2, Spruce top, Tortoise pickguard, Mahogany back & sides, Great full feeling neck, Light weight, Attractive instrument, Superb example,and HSC (not gibson )During World War II, Gibson overhauled their model line and introduced a new range of guitars. They applied a gold banner decal to the headstock that says "Only A Gibson Is Good Enough" and these wartime banner guitars have become some of the most historic and sought after vintage Gibsons ever made.
