WELMAR UPRIGHT PIANO IN TEAK WITH ADJUSTABLE PADDED STOOL ___________________________________________________Welmar produced upright and grand pianos of good quality and appearance for many years and were considered to be reliable instruments within the industry, renown for good tone and light action.We are selling this piano on behalf of our client who no longer has use for the instrument as it was used only by her late husband. It was purchased new in 1981 for £1,674 and was used sparingly up until 2010. It has not been played since. It has recently been inspected and found it to be in very good working order throughout, having a full size 88 note action which shows very little signs of wear. The strings are still bright in appearance and when played the piano produces a very rich tone, having a light touch and a nice set of pristine key covers. However we note that it has not been tuned since it was last played in 2010 and would benefit from a service visit. We are happy to do this at a competitive rate. Other than that we thoroughly recommend this piano which would be suitable for either a professional or teacher or keen amateur / music student. Would make a great present! Delivery:It is recommend that you get a quote for cost of delivery from ground floor NR13 5LXBEFORE bidding to avoid time wasting and disappointment. If you wish to try a DIY move locally we can provide a piano trolley and technical assistance to help with the loading, strapping etc.,for a small fee. Hiring a covered box trailer approx 6' x 5' x 4', or similar, having internal side fixing points should do the job. Otherwise try manandvan.com.
