1976 IBANEZ ARTIST Plectrum banjo in superb all original like new condition. Extremely loud and toneful. It has seen very little play, the frets show no wear. At 41 years old, it's almost like a time capsule. It is quite heavy, it weighs 9 lbs 10 oz on my commercial digital scales. There were no plectrum banjo strings in my small town. Being a guitar player, I simply installed the top four strings off a 5 string set using the top 4 strings and tuned it to Chicago tuning. It will need a new set of plectrum strings if you plan to play it traditionally. It will packed very carefully with plenty of padding. Gig bag included.
