Up for grabs here is a genuine Walter Woods MI-200 8 Amplifier. Odds are if you're looking at this auction, you know what a gem these are! I am only selling this one because I have 2, and can't justify keeping them both. These amps are handmade by Walter Woods, and the MI 200-8 is the most sought after model due to its excellent preamp tone. These amplifiers offer many features that you truly cannot get for other instrument amplifiers on the market. For example, this model is true stereo, and can output two channels independently. Two independent preamp channels that easily allow two instruments to be used either each independently or a mix of both. Great amp for bass players who play electric and upright Bass, or one electric bass and a key bass. Each channel has its own 3 band EQ section. The power output rating is 225W at 8 Ohms per channel, 350W at 4 Ohms per channel. It will also operate in a bridged mode with a whopping 700W output at 8 Ohms. It's a powerhouse of an amp with beautiful, clean tone to go with it. This is one of the best bass amps ever made, but because of its excellent transparency, sounds amazing on many other instruments (Keys, acoustic guitar, etc..). It ways 7.5 pounds and is tiny! All of these are hand made by Walter Woods, one at a time. It will function in 110V or 220V with the flip of a switch. Makes for a great amp to fly with. I have played many gigs with this amp, and it has also made lots of studio magic. Oh, it also offers two independent, balanced DI's (one for each channel).
