Nash JM-62 Jazzmaster Bill Nash, the one most to blame, for Nash custom guitars was started in 2001 and was raised in Los Angeles in and around the music industry. He played in bands, used to make his own guitars, customize things, ruin things and did much of what you would imagine goes on it the formative years of a someday guitar builder. Nash guitars is the largest independent maker of aged guitars in the industry. Most of the day to day running of and administration work is done or overseen by Mrs. Nashguitars as Bill is really best left to the creative side of things! What is a Nash Guitar? It's the closest thing to vintage that you can get without taking a second mortgage. It's a hand-crafted guitar with a vintage vibe. It's an old-school electric with new-school parts. It's a guitar set up by a pro to be played by anyone. The Nash JM-63 guitar is a model from Nash Guitars patterned after a 1963 Fender Jazzmaster. Bill Nash designed the JM-63 to create a custom shop quality guitar that isn't extremely expensive, yet still captures that great look, feel, and playability of a well played and loved 1963 guitar. Not only does the Nash JM-63 look and feel like a vintage JM style guitar, it also features a number of popular modern appointments, such as Lollar handwound pickups, self lubricating nut, and Vintage Style tuning keys. All Nash guitars feature standard  CTS pots, CRL switches, Switchcraft jacks and Sprague Orange-drop caps. Additionally, this particular Nash features a Lollar Jazzmaster pickups.  Period correct bridge plate, vintage tuning machines, and machined knobs.   This JM-63 features Lollar's Jazzmaster pickups. The Lollar Jazzmaster style pickups have a tone that falls somewhere between a Strat's sparkle and chime and a Les Paul's midrange and bass. Its fat tone comes from the Jazzmaster's large surface area as compared with a Strat pickup, which has a more focused, bell-like tone. The detailed treble the Jazzmaster® gets is partly due to its single-coil design and the way its rod magnets are used as individual pole pieces.
