This particular model is engraved with an elegant Leaf Scroll motif - An iconic vintage Zemaitis design. The Metal Front Duo Cut is also one the most recognizably Zemaitis designs thanks to it being the same body style a Rich Robinson’s famous vintage model. This A24MF DC NT has all the unique features you’d expect from a vintage Zemaitis guitar with the quality craftsmanship you would find on the any of the world’s finest, contemporary boutique electric guitars. While not exactly cheap, this stunningly beautiful Zemaitis Metal Front is downright affordable compared to its Vintage and Custom Shop siblings. Its part of Zemaitis’ premier “Antanus” line and it features the same engraved-style hardware - Metal Top, Tailpiece, Truss Rod cover and Z Logo as the Custom Shop guitars. Standard black plastic back cover plates (instead of engraved Duralumin), as well as a satin Urethane finish keep the cost down. The custom Zemaitis bridge and tailpiece are not only great looking, but highly functional, adding tone and sustain! The build quality, fit and finish, fret work, and fine attention to detail are all exceptional. Tony Zemaitis was always experimenting. He made guitars for iconic players like Ron Wood and Keith Richards from the Rollings Stones, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Rich Robinson, The Faces and many, many more. His unique guitars featured a wide variety of finishes, pearl inlays, body styles and construction techniques.
