Please check out x h e f r i g u I t a r s . c o m as a terrific strat plus archive and info site. This is a player grade strat plus in clean condition....but I am really nitpicking here. Very little play wear, however I do not at this time have hang tags on this, etc, so listing as player grade. I believe the color to be blue frost per xhefri guitars, and there is a little metallic hint to the edges. Also, please note that there are marketplace fakes and I would recommend the aforementioned sites for detailed info on spotting fakes. The top actually is a bit more grained than comes through in the pics..I may try some outside to capture better.Authenticity....So, under the pickguard there is a slight color variation and rubbing compound in cavities, etc....some of the hallmarks of original Fender work. Hardware, serial #, nut, lace sensors, etc are period correct. I do not have original case but will include a case if you use the buy it now option. I have several on hand fender and other hard case. The blemishes....Very small chip on top of body, easily missed but included in photo, not her chips or scratches. Some light surface swirls on back. Can be buffed and if this hangs around I will likely have it buffed out, but pricing again accordingly with player condition. Lastly there is some discoloration on the pickguard and neck lace sensor. My belief is that the neck pickup was a swap or for some reason it did not yellow over time....it is however the right pickup for this model. The rectangle near the bridge could be possibly some gaffers tape, etc used to lock down the tremolo. Looking under the pickguard, it all looks original (see neck pickup comment) wiring, etc.Obviously replacement pickguards are abundant, and you could even swap for a pickguard/pickup combo if you want color matching...but this guitar rips and is solid so there is no playability impact, but due to variation this is priced in the player category. This guitar sounds great, and buyer will be happy gigging this or hanging on the wall which is where this lived at my house. There are some much more beat up strat plus out there listed for a lot more. A nice clean example of the strat plus.
