This is the one! (in my opinion anyway). Most Telecaster enthusiasts will tell you that the '52 model was the epitome of Telecaster excellence, which is why Fender reissues it. This reissue was built in 2007, and has some very nice natural relic'ing going on, unlike those over-the-top, intentionally damaged ones. I am the second owner of this guitar, and it plays and sounds exactly like a mojo-filled Tele should. Its tone is perfection. The previous owner, for reasons unknown to me, took some sand paper or steel wool or something to the back of the neck. It is still smooth, and still has the lacquer coating, but it has discolored the back of it. Also, it appears that part of the "Telecaster" sticker on the headstock peeled off at one point, and someone tried to stick it back on, so the second half of the word is a little crooked. Other than that, The guitar is phenomenal. Plays like a dream.
