For sale is my 1951 Fender TV face Deluxe tweed amp. Serial number 3074. The amp has its original power transformer and the original output transformer which is mounted to the original Jensen P12R speaker. The speaker’s date code is 220050 which indicates a manufacture date the 50th week on 1950. The tweed and grill are in very good condition for an amp that is 65 years old. All of the electronics are original and the amp produces a great warm sound and breaks up a little earlier than the 60 Deluxe that I have. The control panel chrome is in very good condition but someone in this amp’s past tried to clean the chrome and removed all the lettering. The metal feet on the amp have a rubber spacer between the metal and the tweed. This rubber has become very dry and is chipping off. The leather handle is a replacement as is the power cord. As far as I can tell everything else on this amp is original and working properly. As with any piece of electronic equipment that is 65 years old, the possibility that the amp could require servicing at any time is always a consideration. It is being sold as is with no return, no warranty and no full or partial refund. I have included many detailed pictures below this description, so please examine them.
