Hopf vintage electric guitarThis is a very early Hopf model electric guitar, much like an early ''Twisty'' model, made in thelate fifties or very early sixties.Its finished in grey which fades into red/orange all around the edges and the neck and headstockare finished in the same way There is a single pickup set on the angle which is very similar to the ''Fuma''pickups as used on early Hofners, and with volume and tone controls plus a two-way switch which makesa slight difference to the tone. All these are set within the cream scratchplate which is all original,undamaged and appears to be fitted with all the original screws.The fingerboard and twenty frets are all in a good condition and the three on a side tuners are all originaland are complete with original screws and tuning stem ferrules.The top of the top strap pin is missing from its wooden stem and there is a chip on one side of theheadstock (see last picture), but this is a rare guitar - hard to find in such a good complete conditionand in full working order.Any questions please call on 07544 887582.
