Vintage 1960's Hy-Lo (Hoshino Gakki) Model 2103 Electric Guitar MIJConditionThis guitar is in good working condition. The neck is very straight for a guitar this old, and the truss rod is fully functional. There are some minor grooves developing in the frets, and a few have a rough texture. The action is comfortable and the guitar plays well. The electronics are fully functional, free from hiss, hum, or crackle. The tremelo bridge is in great shape and has a fluid action. CosmeticsThere are some scuffs, scratches, nicks, and dings in the finish. There is a large chunk of finish missing from the back side lower bout on the bass side. There is a smaller chip out of the upper horn on the bass side. There are a number of small marks and dings on the body. Some of the chrome hardware shows minor pitting and discoloration.
