A very fine old French violin bow stamped "J.J. Martin A Paris". J.J. Martin was one of the most important French bow makers of the second half of 19th century. This is a perfect example of a masters work. This bow is perfect for soloist or a leader of an orchestra. The stick is made from the best pernambuco, a superior choice, round, strong, with a perfect flexibility, and amazing handling. I purchased this bow a long time ago from a private collector. I am selling this bow because I have no more need for it because I stopped playing violin. I took this bow to a local violin shop and they told me that the sick is original but they don't think the frog and screw is original. The stick was in perfect condition and this is truely an amazing full size violin bow.
