This is a very very regretful forced sale due to marriage woes. Up for grabs is an extremely lovely and near mint condition Les Paul that has never, ever left my home studio. It is my first and likely to be my last Les Paul and I loved it (perhaps too much according to my soon to be ex wife) ? It sings and growls and sustains as a Les Paul should plus it is coil tapped, so in addition you get some very nice single coil sounds / single and humbucker combos - not to mention the 15db turbo volume boost that will remove at least one pedal from your board This a truly beautiful sounding and looking instrumentOne dreadful day a wall hanging fell and bounced across my studio floor and chipped a piece out of the back of one corner of this guitar (see picture). After days of sobbing I glued the piece back into place but I didn't do a great job. I am sure that anyone with an ounce of skill in this area will fix this and the LP will be as good as newApart from this blotch the guitar is in as new and totally unmarked condition. It has an upgraded bridge - but the original one will be supplied as wellI bought a set of Gotoh locking tuners (chrome) for the guitar but haven't fitted them and will throw them in with the guitar - you can decide whether or not to put them onComes with a pristine retro brown, hot pink plush fur lined Gibson caseI will pack it very well and send it to you for exactly what it costs me to send - no more, no less - you will get a copy of the receipt. The 2014 Les Paul Classic is crafted from the same ingredients that made this instrument an instant classic, solid mahogany topped with maple, with updates for the enhanced tone, comfort and even looks. The mahogany back employs the Gibson traditional weight relief rout to provide you with incredible resonance and a slight reduction in the weight of the notoriously heavy solid Les Pauls while the carved figured maple top caters to the traditional and elegant aesthetics of those first “Bursts”. The glued-in mahogany neck is carved into the slim '60s profile and features a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 undercut, cryogenic-treated frets made to withstand corrosion for a much longer fret life.
