Carvin 6 String Bass with original hardshell case. Weight: 8lbs 11ozString spacing currently: 15mmNut Width: 50.25mmNeck width @ 12th fret: 70.22mmNeck size at nut end of 1st fret: 19.50mmThis is a bad to the bones bass. Super light weight for a bass of this size. Very comfortable to play compared to others that I have tried. I especially enjoy having the Wilkinson adjustable bridge so that the string spacing can be set up to your exact specifications. Beautiful natural finish with chrome hardware. The 2 Jazz style pickups have a great tone and the 2-band active EQ lets you fine tune the sound. The electronics are a master volume, pickup blend, bass and treble. The 24 fret, neck thru design with ebony fingerboard feels very comfortable. The frets are in excellent condition. Overall this instrument has a quality look and feel. It plays and sounds great. The LB76 was Carvin's first 6-string bass, and was introduced in 1992. The LB76 active bass is built to the highest possible standards with features found only on high-end and boutique basses, without the boutique price. There are hundreds of available options on Carvin's LB76 bass, and because they sell direct, each instrument can be a fully-custom designed USA-made bass. The LB76 is more than just an instrument - it's a work of art that you'll be proud to play and own for a lifetime. It has plenty of room for aggressive slapping techniques, and covers the entire bass range, from the low-end growl of the B string to the percussive tones of the high C.
