Up for sale is a very nice playing 1961, 94,xxxx, Selmer mark vi alto saxophone. These 9x,xxx 5 digit altos are by far the most projecting and ballsy of the vi family. This horn plays with a great big sound that can be dark and fat or focused and edgy depending on how hard you push. It's one of those horns that will not back down and take all the air you can put into it! It's al original and it's def. a players horn. It comes with 60% or so if the original laq. and has the original neck with matching serial number. This belonged to a very good friend of mine that recently passed away so I'm selling it for his wife. It's had a few resoldered posts but the body is overall pretty straight and this horn really knocks the walls down. There is a dent on the bow cap (as pictured). It comes with brown too pads that have plenty of life left in them and feels like butter under your fingers. This is not gonna win any beauty contests but it is certainly a remarkable player. It will come shipped in a black (protec style) contoured case. Don't miss out!
