This 1896 SS Stewart Orchestra #2 Model banjo is in very good original unrestored condition (pegs are probably replacements). Cherry neck with ebony fingerboard. There is a tight stable hairline crack on heel that has never affected appearance or playability. Currently has a "Common Sense" tailpiece with the walrus ivory rosette. This instrument was appraised at $2000 in 2009 by George Gruhn.
