Along with a mahogany back, this model features a carved mahogany top (as opposed to maple like a Standard) for a really warm tone. Full and rich with nice overtones. The one piece mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Dual Burstbucker Pro Alnico V humbuckers deliver killer tones. Kluson style tuners team up with a Tuneomatic bridge and a Stopbar tailpiece for excellent performance. This example is finished in faded cherry red. The faded finishes are a satin lacquer that are reminiscent of a vintage finish. Not glossy and very thin they make for a louder instrument unplugged and contribute to the guitar’s tone. A great guitar and an excellent way to own a real Gibson Les Paul at a great price!This Les Paul has nice feel and tone. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. The pickups sound nice and warm. All electronics work as they should.I’ve sold tons of Les Paul Studios over the years. They offer players a lot of USA MADE Gibson guitar at a great price! Please note the pickguard, and truss rod cover in the photos are made of wood (wood color) and will NOT be included in the sale. The original BLACK pickguard and BLACK truss rod cover will be put back on the guitar prior to shipping off.
