Zemaitis Guitars CAG-200 FS All Solid Wood Construction! Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar The beautiful Zemaitis CAG-200FS is a Grand Auditorium sized acoustic guitar designed with the note articulation required for finger picking and the volume for a flat picking. Its rich acoustic tone is loud and resonant thanks to lightweight, all-solid-wood construction. This particular Grand Auditorium model features a solid Sitka Spruce top with solid Rosewood back and sides for a balanced tone with power and projection. The neck is expertly carved from Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard and joins the body at the 14th fret. Elegant appointments include abalone purfling while an understated small dot and diamond inlay adorns the fingerboard. The body is bound in figured Maple for added class. Zemaitis acoustics are truly distinctive instruments! There’s no mistaking the classic “smiley bridge” and distinctive rosette. Woods heat treated and dry aged in a vacuum state (torrefication) removes excess water and minerals before assembly, creating a guitar that is resonant and resistant to changes in climate and temperature extremes.
