Fender Telacaster 62 Reissue Made in Japan in 1991. Low action great player awesome tone.
Weighing in at 7lbs 8oz, this Tele sparkles and twangs with the best and the slim C neck profile is extremely comfortable.Unfortunately the original owner erased the serial number marked on the neck as well as the made in Japan. At least he did it using very thin micro mesh so the finish blends more like wear and did not ruin the finish.
Fender Japan did an exacting job of making these guitars feel lively and resonant, very much akin to their vintage Fender brethren, and the upgrades simply enhance the already great build quality and tone woods. The neck has a quintessential slim C profile with a 1 5/8" nut width, slim vintage style frets and 7 1/4" fretboard radius.The body top has a beautiful natural flame, not photo flame fake contact stuff. The ross wod slab fretboard adds a warmth to the tone that you simply can't get with a maple fretboard Tele, and the stock frets are in fantastic shape. Has some wear and blemishes small dings from use not a showroom piece but full of swagger and beauty. The saddles where upgraded for Fender nickel ones at some point for better tone and intonation
