Yamaha AES1500 electric guitar for parts or repair. This is a completely usable, playable, working Yamaha electric guitar. The reason I have it listed as parts is because it has a binding / seam separation (shown in photo). Also I am old and downsizing. This is a great sounding, looking, playing guitar. Great for jazz, rock, blues, country, or anything really. The body is heavily flamed sycamore and it is obviously styled after the Grestche single cutaways and Gibson 350's. Everything works on the guitar. It is completely playable as is and has a great setup and a beautiful range tone. The original Yamaha tone pots have been replaced. If you know these guitars at all you know that the push push coil splitter Yamaha pots are extremely prone to failure and impossible to find as replacements. We have replaced those pots with aftermarket pull on style coil splitter pots. A big improvement in reliability with no loss of tonal possibilities. It comes with the original Yamaha case. It is very good used condition cosmetically with only a couple of impacts, the largest one is shown and has normal playwear.. It is sold completely as-is no returns for any reason.
